A tale of two frogs...

One day . . .  two frogs called Norman and Bertie were enjoying a day in the barn sheltering from the hot sunshine outside when suddenly . . . 

The wood shelf they were on broke and they both slipped and fell into the farmer's bucket of milk below.

Total nightmare!! They were trapped and couldn't get out . . .

They kept swimming around to keep from drowning. Every once in a while they would try to climb out,but the side of the bucket was too high and they kept falling back in. This went on for a long time and it became very tiring.

Norman turned to Bertie and said "This is useless, we should just give up." But Bertie just ignored the comment and kept swimming. There was no way he would ever give in!

Finally, Norman the pessimistic frog gave up and drowned.

Bertie was sad at the loss of his friend, but he wasn't going to give up. He kept swimming and swimming, until finally, he churned the milk into butter, just solid enough for him to finally climb out of the bucket.
