Join local businesses looking to build contacts at this event at Hersham Place Technology Park and hear from local business woman Anila Vaghela of Anila's Authentic Sauces and how she has taken her award winning curry sauces, pickles and chutneys from her kitchen worktop to the food halls of Selfridges and Harrods.

Born in Zimbabwe as the eldest of five children Anila started her culinary skills at a very young age helping her grandmother grind spices. Anila arrived in London in 1977 where she continued to enjoy cooking an array of dishes from all over the world. She began experimenting and adapting an age old recipe to create meals easily after work. Time was precious as a full time working mother of 2 and preparing sauces in advance provided the perfect answer. In early 1992, with encouragement from friends, Anila began selling small batches to the community. The business was born and 9 years on Anila is now supplying her award winning sauces to a range of outlets throughout the UK and overseas including the prestigious food halls of Harrods, Wholefoods, and Selfridges.

We keep you informed of current plans in Walton and give you a chance to put forward your suggestions and objections. This can be frustrating on your own however working collectively as a WBG member ensures a louder voice to the correct representative giving a much better result.
