As a Shiatsu practitioner one of the things I enjoy most is introducing people to the treatment for the first time.
Giving 15 minute seated treatments at special events is a great way for people to try Shiatsu, and people are often surprised at how deeply they can relax in that short time, or how much relief they can experience from the neck, shoulder or back pain that prompted them to give it a go. Even if someone just wants to ask a question it can mean the difference between them thinking that Shiatsu is something mysterious, painful or just not for them, and the realisation that it's suitable for everyone, enjoyable and very effective.
The Feelgood Festival on Sunday 8th May is an extra-special event. Held at the beautiful Denbies Vineyard near Dorking from 11am-5pm, the Feelgood Festival is raising money for the Brigitte Trust which supports carers and people with life-threatening illness. Entry is only £3 and there will be lots of different complementary therapies to try as well as stalls for browsing and shopping - aee the full list of exhibitors here. You might discover a new way to ease a physical problem, or to help you be more calm and contented. You might find that perfect present. You'll definitely be helping a fantastic charity. This is the 13th Feelgood Festival so they really know how to make the day successful and keep people coming back year after year.
I'll be giving 15 minute treatments for £10, with £1 from every treatment donated to the Brigitte Trust. Come along, sit down and let go of your stress!
Hi Liz,
Lets organise another day here?
They all really enjoyed it.
Kind regards,
Marcia
