ne of the best ways to train and keep fit is to keep your mind and body completely engaged at all times and one of the best ways of doing this is to change your training routine on a regular basis.

Now I don’t mean go out there and do something completely different every single day as that would be counterproductive and not consistent unless you are a professional athlete in which case you wouldn’t be reading this article anyway.

The mind and body adapt to any exercise routine over a period of time and usually it makes sense to change your programme every six to eight weeks to keep your mind and body guessing and interested. Once you start to get bored with a routine and your body has also started to adapt then when everything starts to slow down and you stop making progress.

Working with kettle bells is a fantastic way of getting in and keeping in shape but before you go out and buy yourself a set I’d suggest you hire a personal trainer or go to a few gym classes to get the hang of the exercises as they won’t be like anything you’ve ever experienced

I promise you!

Because you are using the body as a whole unit which is the single best way to train (in my opinion) you are using major muscle groups in conjunction with each other and as you are working at approximately 80% to 85% of your maximum heart rate which in turn gets you out of breath very quickly and because you are sustaining this breathlessness over a shorter more intense period of time the caloric after burn in the 12 hour period afterwards is awesome!

Believe me!!!

You will get fitter, stronger and leaner in a way you never believed possible and this kind of fitness and power translates into everyday life!

Obviously it goes without saying if you’re a total beginner not to jump into an advanced class and to always make sure you have your Doctors clearance if you have been unwell or not exercised for a while.

Give it a try and let me know how it feels?
