Launch of The Athena Network Woking Group

<>If you are a woman in business, you are warmly invited to the Athena Network Launch of the brand new Woking group on Thursday, 21st October 11.30 am - 2.00 pm. You will be able to meet and network with fabulous, supportive, and welcoming women in business from in and around Woking. Joining us at the launch will be two guest speakers:

Jane Barrett, Nutritionist at Nurturing Nutrition

Jane will be speaking on: 7 top tips to help women running their own businesses feel their best and look to after themselves with food. Simple, fad-free tips to support energy, mood, digestion, and hormones.

Sarah Phillips, Octima Marketing

Sarah will be speaking on: Sharing her five step process that she believes every business should undertake before starting any marketing activity, and to ensure you're communicating the right message, to the right audience in the right place and at the right time.

The group will be meeting on the third Thursday of the month from 12pm-2pm (except August and December).

At Athena, our aims are support, strategic alliances, and training. We focus exclusively on women in business fulfilling a business development role.

The Athena Network offers inspiring opportunities to engage with business owners and decision-makers from diverse industry sectors. Founded on values of respect and integrity, Athena groups are committed to welcoming members and visitors in a relaxed, mutually supportive, and ethical environment.

In brief:

• Athena is a women-only networking membership organisation
• All our groups meet once a month every month (except August and December)
• There is also Cappuccino Connections (informal networking)
• Athena is all about relationship-building, training, and support

The meetings have a set structure that includes business card-passing, a one-minute elevator pitch, referrals, and two training sessions. The meetings are formal, but always with a sense of fun and enjoyment. As a member, you will also be invited to attend an additional two-hour training session to help you get the most out of your Athena membership.
