Lights, Camera, Action – Getting the most out of going live @ Harbour Hotel

We all know that content is king in the world of marketing. But in the world of content, video is the king of kings. The problem is that many business owners would rather stick red hot needles in their eyes rather than turn the video camera on themselves. At least stills can be photoshopped. And then there is the sound of your own voice – it just doesn’t sound like you.

Rest assured. Everyone feels the same. But if you can be amongst the few that step outside their comfort zone, then you really can get a competitive advantage. This session will take you through some tips and traps in going live, whether it is going live – live as in Facebook live or LinkedIn Live, or whether it is recording a video for later posting. We’ll cover scripting, set up, some basic equipment and how you can create videos without even appearing in them.

Then we’ll try out some of the things we’ve learned by giving it a go, live in the room. Go on – put your big boy/girl pants on and book on to the most uncomfortable, yet mysteriously satisfying session you’ll have been to at a Hub yet.
