Twestival is a global date where Twitter users come together to network in person and raise money for charity.

We’re all very much looking forward to this Thursday’s Twestival Farnham! We have a fantastic speaker lined up on the night, Ilicco Elia, Head of Consumer Mobile at Reuters (@ilicco) who will be delivering the keynote talk, ‘A Corporate Lad Living in a Mobile Social world’. The talk will discuss how mobile has changed the news cycle by impacting all stages of the process of news gathering, curation and distribution.

We’re delighted that Ilicco will be joining us and supporting Twestival Farnham to help Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.

Following the keynote talk, Business and Technology journalist, Chris Green will chair a panel discussion with industry experts about the role of online participation in the concept of Big Society.
