Tip 1
If you're struggling to find a really good tool for helping you manage your personal or business tasks then do take a look at Trello (www.trello.com). It's free (which is a winner to start with) and although it has a paid for version, there really is no need to upgrade. You can manage as many tasks as you like and categorise them into projects (or organisations as it calls them) and permission others to access those projects and work on specific tasks.
The user interface is great and really simple to use and for anyone who is constantly on the go (who isn't these days), there is both an Andriod and Apple app for you to keep track and on top of things while you're mobile.
Tip 2
Okay, this second tip isn't a tool as such but if you're struggling under the weight of tasks that you've just created in Trello and wondering how on earth you'll ever get them completed, then do consider a virtual assistant. Having used one for several months now I can no longer imagine what I did before. My VA (as the lingo goes) is actually based in France and we have regular Skype calls to maintain that human side to things and she works on a combination of finance, market research and other types of tasks. To be really flexible some VA companies let you book their time as and when required but for the best rates you need to book blocks of days per month.
Hope this helps - and look out for more tips in the future....
