Tomorrow's FREE Social Media Day in Marlow - update from Jon Davey

Tomorrow we will be hosting our 2020 Social Media event at The Crowne Plaza in Marlow. We have over 100 people booked to join us.

All attendees will be provided with a 2020 brochure on the day which will include:

• A voting sheet for their favourite speakers
• A free copy of our Top 10 Social Media Marketing Rules
• And a list of 2020 ONE DAY ONLY offers, potentially saving hundreds of pounds.

It would appear that 20% of those that have booked for the event are in the industry and around 60% are smaller businesses looking for some ideas on how to make their world rock. There also appears to be 20% representing larger organisations who we hope will be signing us up for 2011 season ;)

The day is set to be an interesting one. Starting off with yours truly presenting the Top 10 Social Media Networking Rules. If you unable to be at 2020 tomorrow to collect your FREE copy in person then why not click on the link and buy a copy for only £10 + VAT.

My presentation will be followed by a good mix of sponsors, local community groups and business partners who will present for 2 minutes each to the audience who, I suspect, will be looking for the social media angle. Or maybe they will go for the entertainer in the crowd. How do we know? We don't, we'll just have to wait and see what the audience decide!

We'll then take a break while the votes are counted and verified. The top 3 will get to do 20 minutes with questions & answers …

Then we'll have another round of presentations from our VIPs who secured or earned their place on the stage and so will hopefully make the most of their sixty seconds of fame, ensuring the crowd want more. I hope they remember to say who they are and how they can be contacted.

All the presenters will be captured on video and the content added to YouTube so they can share it as they wish.

Lunch will be hosted by NRG Networks.

Lunch will be followed by a discussion around how the government could, should use social media to engage with the populous and businesses, creating a speedy two way flow of information.

Unfortunately those involved in the new LEP couldn't make it to our event!
