Diary of a Networker...

I had a great time at the Halloween Night Weybridge Ecademy meeting (although slightly disappointed that I was the only one wearing a Devil mask - and that nobody noticed!) Lots of NiS Members, including Julie Bryant (the Naked Dragon!), David Nunn, David Shaw, Jeremy Webb, Richard Francis, Steve Bridger, Paul Wigley, Maurice Watts,Tessa Hood, Cim Bartlett, David Simpson, Mike Loughton and Sarah Martin, were among the 65 attendees who turned up to see Penny and Thomas Power and last-minute special guest Daniel Priestly, new MD of Ecademy. We heard about the future of Ecademy from Daniel, the power of blogging from Penny, and new trends in the online world from Thomas, who shared with us his essential social media strategy for beginners.

We had a lively Business Biscotti morning in Cobham with several new faces, and recruited Marcelle Crinean to join us as the third Ambassador – splendid!  This morning I very much enjoyed Rob Williams’ 4sight at 4Networking Walton & Weybridge, and will be 'borrowing' a couple of his hottest tips to share with attendees at our Networking Skills Masterclass (don’t miss your early bird discount here...)
