The Great British Summer rolls on – England v India at Lords, and it’s raining cats and dogs. How reassuringly familiar! The ‘Networking in’ story rolls on too, with Berkshire hitting 700 Members yesterday – marvellous! NiS is actually narrowing the gap at 637 Members (meet our newest ones here), and both sites are getting serious traffic (over 2,500 unique visitors per month in all).
Search engines love all this activity, and adore those links to all your sites. I just googled ‘4Networking’ (you know, the one with 300 groups across the UK?) which returned 913,000 results, and to my amazement, our Regular Group Meetings entry for 4N on NiS was on page one – magic!
Try googling yourself (and your NiS pals) to see if a Networking in Surrey entry is highly ranked in the results. Remember, this online visibility is yours for free, just for being an active Member of the NiS community. Who else do you know who’d like some of our 'Google juice'?

Diary of a Networker...
I’ve been out at the coalface getting lots of what Innocent smoothies co-founder Richard Reed referred to as ‘face time’ on The Apprentice final show – I’m lovin’ that expression! I got to Richmond 4N along with Prabha Shiyani, Dan Smale, Sally Burrough, Sheree Lowe, Bryan Butterworth, Max Wright, Mike Wylie, Tim Maycock, Nick Taimitarha, Ben Singer and of course, Hyperman! - 4N founder Brad ‘Marmite’ Burton (love ‘im or hate ‘im!) He said nice things about NiS, so we love ol' BB...
Next morning, before Angela and I took the train up to Yorkshire for a long, wet (in both ways) weekend with our old chum Kenny Custard and his lovely wife Susie, I made it to 4N Walton to see Gordon Hewett, as well as Charlotte Grant, John Edward, Manuel Boger, Mark Stevens, Rowan Johnson and Mike Loughton. Monday evening was the monthly Trafford networking dinner at Woodlands Park with Jeremy Webb and David Shaw, and on Tuesday I was with Tessa Hood, Joanna Atkinson and Jane Hardy at the Business Biscotti Ambassadors meeting organised by Tina Williams, where Biscotti founder Sue Reeves revealed their plans for ‘world domination’ – 70 groups in a year and much more to come... This morning I was at Biscotti Woking in the lovely country house setting of Gorse Hill, with Jane Hardy, Jo Underhill, Hannah Kirk, Annette Salmon, Sarah Martin, Antonio Falco and Martin Wallman.
(Sorry if I missed anybody out in that lot :o)
Happy Networking!
