Sharing valuable content on LinkedIn is a great way to help others and demonstrate your expertise - a win-win way to get yourself noticed and respected by your networking connections.

HOW TO ADD A VISUAL - Photo, Graphic or Video - to your LinkedIn Post:

1. Go to your Home Page on LinkedIn and at the top you'll see 'Start a post'.  I suggest having the post already written rather than typing it in live, and pasting the text in.
2. You'll see buttons to add a photo, video, or event, or write an article. This is a bit like attaching something to an email.   
3. You can only attach one graphic  or video and although you can edit the text of a post after posting it, you can't change the photo or video.
4. The graphic appears at the bottom of the post when viewing the whole thing, but in people's feeds they see the graphic or video and just a couple of line of the text, so make that a headline to grab interest and get them to click through.
