It always amazes me how people always say to me "why was I burgled - Ive lived here for xx years??" Well the answer to that question is - You always think being Burgled only happens to OTHER PEOPLE!!
Well it doesn't - It can happen to all of us at some time or another
IF YOU DONT HAVE A BURGLAR ALARM!!
A Burglar Alarm is a deterrant first of all and also a means of scaring off a Burglar if the Alarm is Activated.
A way of letting YOU, as the house holder, know that there is an activation (activity?) at your home, and a way to have the Police at your door within minutes.!!
HA HA you say! - Police there in Minutes ?? YES when you have an "Approved Installation" by an "Approved Installer" (such as us S.S.A.I.B. / UCAS approved for Police and Insurance purposes) The Police WILL respond as your Alarm "TICKS ALL THE BOXES" FOR THEM TO JUSTIFY RUSHING TO YOUR HOME! and preventing a burglar from having time to clear your home of all those 'Precious Heirlooms" that have been handed down through the family and that ARE youre most precious posessions you have - worth much more than Money (as irreplacieble!) and I've seen too many people who have lost those Memories forever!! it makes me really sad.
SO "DONT U B A VICTIM" BEAT THE BURGLAR AND INSTALL AN ALARM B4 THEY COME VISITING!!!

Thanks for this timely warning Jon - thieves love houses full of Christmas presents, sometines even gift wrapped for them - when the owners are out partying (maybe at networkgin events!) Good tip that we should check our suppliers are police approved to get the Old Bill round quickly.
If you are the only house in your street with an alarm, are you advertising you might have something worth nickng, or are the villains more likely to go next door?
We've been burgled, and it's not much fun! Window locks are a good investment in olser properties too. I reckon thieving will be more prevalent in the tough year we have ahead of us...

ANSWER - WE ALL have something worth nicking - Small flate to Large Mansions - It "the wrong place at the wrong time" WITH a Burglar Alarm - youre most likely to be left alone - AS (im an ex Police Officer) a Burglar does NOT like noise.. easy quietli IN and OUT is what they want.
NB: If you do have an ALARM - SWITCH IOT ON at night 2/3 of Burglaries happen with the Occupants IN THE HOUSE...
