Latest update from BL on the demise of Business Link as we know it...
From 25 November 2011, the regional Business Link services will close and the national Business Link website www.businesslink.gov.uk will be your primary support service.
Here at Business Link South East, this means that:
The Business Link website is the government’s online resource for all businesses and contains essential information, support and services for you and your business. It is the first place to go to find guidance on regulations and relevant business information and has a number of useful online tools and provides access to funding options. You can also search for potential sources of help with running or developing your business by using the Business Support Finder (www.businesslink.gov.uk/support) and can search for relevant business events taking place either locally or nationally (www.businesslink.gov.uk/events).
Over the next two issues of Business Information Online, we will start to share more information with you on initiatives such as the government’s mentoring portal (www.mentorsme.co.uk) and ‘My New Business’, a hub housed on the Business Link website, designed to help everyone who is either thinking about or has already started to set up a business. We will also signpost you to new information and guidance available on the Business Link website.
