Avoid toxic cleansers – use natural cleaners

There is a commercial product for practically every type of cleaning job available on this planet. From laundry detergents, soaps, to stain removers etc.

Anyone can just go to the grocery shop or their local chemist and buy a solution for any household problem. Most of these materials go the extra mile in providing you fresh and thoroughly cleaned clothes, cushions, floors and everything from top to bottom in the house. True enough, maintaining a home is done faster with the help of cleaning agents.

Unfortunately, as efficient and convenient these factory-made products are, there is a catch. These can contain some, if not a lot, of toxic chemicals that can do more harm in the long run. Harsh formulas are used to create cleaning products that can work twice as hard in removing tough stains. Yes, you might get the results that you want but end up slowly poisoning your entire household.

Avoiding these products is of utmost importance since we value our health above all else. This is especially true when there are children in the family. Kids, babies and even pets can be extra sensitive when it comes to harsh chemicals being used as their laundry soap. Plus, bathroom cleaning and other kitchen aids can leave traces of these bad ingredients that can eventually harm your children and pets.

So, how can you solve your everyday cleaning problems without compromising you and your family’s health and welfare? Easy! Here are some natural ingredients that you can use to build your own toxic-free cleaning agents.

Citrus fruits like lemon, orange and lime

Believe it or not, when it comes to disinfecting floors, countertops, bathroom tiles and the kitchen, citrus fruits are your best bet! The skin of an orange or lemon can be used to create an all-natural, chemical free cleaning aid. You can add it to vinegar, let it soak for a day or two then after straining the mixture, you are good to go. Also, it’s easy to avoid having pesticides in your fruit by choosing organically grown ones.

Baking soda, vinegar, salt and borax

These are the day-to-day household products that you might have in your pantry or stored in the basement. Do you know that, this stuff, when mixed and appropriated accordingly, can be your solution to tough stains? Salt, baking soda and borax can be infused together to make a natural scouring powder for tough bathroom scum! Cleaning out the oven is safer and faster with baking soda too. What’s even greater is that these are made with less to zero chemicals that can harm your home’s surfaces and your family’s health!

There are many natural ways to clean the home without sacrificing the well-being of your family. And, if you get professional cleaners to steam and thoroughly clean your carpets as well as other household areas, it is imperative that you get the help of agencies who provide well-trained personnel who also use less toxic cleaning materials.
