That's great, Jeff!
The sites are there for the Members to use in whatever way you find helpful - and any feedback will be gratefully received...
Hi Jeff
Short answer - no. We run the three existing sites (Bucks, Berks and Surrey) as separate entities at the moment.
The thinking is that if people want to network online at a national or global level they can use Linked In or Ecademy, which are huge. The Networking In sites are online tools to facilitate face-to-face networking, so they are geo-specific. We list events you can get to easily, and the Members you see ont he site you will meet in person at these events.
We appreciate that some people will be located on the intersection of three counties, but we had to choose what basis we were going to localise on, and counties make the most sense.
Of course, you can join any or all of the sites for free - but I quite understand it's a bit of a pain to have to visit each in turn to find out what's going on near you. For diary planning, there's always Stuart's findnetworkingevents.co.uk, but that depends on event organisers listing their own events - with varying degrees of accuracy.
I think our sites are the best resource for local networkers - but then I would say that! Any ideas you have about how we can improve them would be welcome...

Hi Jeff
Thanks for joining us, and welcome to the Networking in Surrey community. I hope you find the site useful for planning your networking.
When you get a moment, it would be great to see your photo in place of the 'anonymous silhouette' provided by the software!
Best regards
K
