Competitions in your line of business - have you tried?

I am a Wedding Photographer based in Purley, Surrey. I was advised at a seminar I attended to try my luck at entering my favourite photos into wedding photo competitions. The reasons given for this is that it can raise your game, and help maintain the highest standards. Of course doing well in such competitions can do no harm to your reputation either!

I highly recommend you change to using a close-up headshot for your My Page profile pic rather than a logo image, as soon as you have one you're happy with. This will help people to recognise you when they meet you in person at networking events and remind them who you are whenever they visit your profile. Of course, any picture is better than the anonymous blue silhouettes provided by the software!
