• LinkedIn acquires mobile news app Pulse for $90m - apparently an unlikely match, but LinkedIn SVP of Products and User Experience Deep Nishar says they want to make LinkedIn “the definitive professional publishing platform — where all professionals come to consume content and where publishers come to share their content.” Good luck with that one...

• 4N is out to lunch... After failing to gain traction with evening meetings in Surrey, 4Networking has switched its attention to lunchtime meetings as a way to address the market of school-run parents and tradespeople who find breakfast meetings don't fit their schedule.
