The Autumn Statement - what businesses really need to know

Our tax expert David Gibbs will sift through the mountain of detail in the Autumn Statement and extract the information that will affect business owners.

So we wait to hear…Will there be a U turn on Osborne’s fiscal plans?  Will the imminent triggering of Article 50 bring about a change of policy? And will the recent currency fluctuations mean the Government will have contingency plans in place for the impact of the rise in prices?

We will be watching events closely on the day of the announcements. This will be Philip Hammond’s first financial statement and sets the tone for the Chancellor who will be taking us up to Brexit and beyond.
