Guildford Job Club supports jobseekers across a wide age range who are actively looking for work. Today we are running an open-house for NiS Members and site users - please drop in at 11am to meet us (and each other!) and help our members to improve their networking skills.

Our guest speaker is Keith Grover, who runs Networking in Surrey and teaches business people how to use networking effectively to build their personal brand.

Now in its third year of operation, Guildford Job Club runs four local clubs: the original club founded by Richard Fox and Chris Stanton which meets on every Monday morning at St Saviour’s Church, Guildford, two smaller work clubs in Stoke (Wednesday mornings) and Westborough (Friday mornings) providing more individual support for jobseekers, plus Guildford Job Pub. These are all delivered in conjunction with Surrey Lifelong Learning Partnership (SLLP) and – since January 2012 – e-Skills Solutions. SLLP supplies laptop computers and e-Skills Solutions provides local Learndirect courses in basic skills, IT, managing finances, literacy and numeracy.
