The dangers of ‘Presenteeism’ – How to really get out of your business for a few hours each week and make stuff happen
How easy is it to get to you? Can people just pick up the phone and speak to you? What about your staff or outsourced colleagues? Can they just pick up the phone or the email and speak to you?
Everyone loves to be popular but if people can get to you easily you are hurting your business, your positioning and your future.
Your time is the most precious thing in your business an if you are letting someone else dictate how you spend it then you will always be on the back foot reacting rather than being in control and doing what you need to do and when.
Quite often though it is easier said than done, people will always want access to you an dyou have to manage their time as well as your own.
Nige is a master at this, he is beyond crystal clear on his time and his team know exactly when they can - and can't speak to him.
In this month's session Nigel will show his top tips for staying in control of your time so you can get the important stuff done

FINDING THE VENUE: Bizarrely, the Post Office, Eventbrite, Google Maps and Chef & Brewer between them can't seem to agree on the postcode and map location! Please use KT11 1BW as the postcode for Google Maps to locate the Fairmile between Esher and Cobham on the A307 Portsmouth Road - not as Eventbrite insists on placing it, in the middle of the dual carriageway of the A3. Chef & Brewer who own the Farmile have it as KT11 1BQ, and the Post Office postcode finder doesn't recognise The Fairmile Arms as existing at all - spooky! What your satnav will make of it is anybody's guess... :0)
