role responsible for managing staff and/or human resources within your business, these workshops are designed to assist you. We will help you as an employer to concentrate your energies on managing your business in today’s challenging economic climate and minimise your exposure to employment disputes and Employment Tribunal claims.

By attending one of our workshops you will
learn about the following current employment issues:

The Agency Workers Regulations 2010: effective from 1 October, understand the practical implications for you as an employer.

The Bribery Act 2010: introduced from 1 July,
ensure you have assessed the main areas of risk for your business and have the correct procedures in place.

Retirement: the abolition of the default retirement age
commenced earlier this year, know when you might be able to compulsory retire staff and the policy and procedures you should now have in place.

A round up of key developments: how do some of the more significant employment law developments affect your business? We look at developments affecting: the use of social media, employment status, paternity
leave, taxation of termination payments and representation at disciplinary
hearings.
