Although Dubai has had some well publicised difficulties over the last two years, it has remained resilient. There are signs of recovery as the Authorities focus on restoring confidence and on public sector infrastructure projects. In the 2011 budget 43% of total expenditure was allocated to the Economic Sector which includes infrastructure. There is also particular interest in healthcare and education facilities, as well as public transport projects.

Dubai remains popular as a base for UK companies with a large number of incentives, and trade levels have remained high. This event will look behind the headlines at the current state of Dubai and highlight areas where UK consultancies should be looking to win business.
