Bright Club at the Bar des Arts

Bright Club – the thinking person’s variety night – is coming to Guildford.

This event blends comedy, science, music, art and anything else creative and puts it on stage. Academic researchers, scientists and other specialists with a love of science and a creative streak are invited to come and share their enthusiasm with a friendly crowd.

First held at University College London to help researchers engage with new audiences, Bright Club has spread far and wide, from Manchester to Bristol, Cardiff to the Edinburgh Festival. Now, it’s taking place in Guildford, at Bar Des Arts, opposite the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. Bright Club Guildford will run once every two months, each time with a different theme.
