Shiatsu is a relaxing, effective form of bodywork using acupressure points and gentle stretches. It is an excellent way to let go of stress, relieve aches and pains, and to treat a wide range of common complaints. It is suitable for practically everyone including pregnant women. It can be a dynamic treatment for those who need it (eg after sports), or a very gentle nurturing treatment; every session is unique.
I am also trained in Meridian Massage, which combines the relaxation of a full-body oil massage with the benefits of treating Shiatsu pressure points and meridians. I use Neal's Yard Remedies essential oil blends and base oil to enrich the skin and enhance the treatment with aromatherapy.
I also give Chi Nei Tsang, which focuses on the abdomen to release physical and emotional tension held in the tissues and organs, aid the digestive, lymphatic and circulatory systems, and help you restore your balance.
I give treatments at Optima Health in Cobham and St Michael's Sanctuary in Ewell.
I trained with the Zen School of Shiatsu in London and with Carola Beresford-Cooke in Wales, and am fully insured.
