I strongly recommend Members should use a photo of yourself rather than a logo on their My Page profile. As you can see, almost every Member of NiS who has something other than the silhouette has used a head shot.
It's important to display your mugshot online because cyberspace is 'inhuman'. At a networking meeting you can smile, share a joke, look people in the eye, shake their hand. Online, you're invisible, intangible and impersonal.
Posting your picture lets people identify you when they meet you face-to-face at a networking event having seen your cheery mush online - or recognise you online as somebody they've met in person.
You can always post the cute baby on your profile page - here's a video showing you how...
