 ead of Operations for a leading fresh produce supplier to retail accou
 nts. A practical and hands on manager with over 25 years of people lea
 dership within the food industry. He relies on over 20 years of experi
 ence directly managing variable levels of employee exploitation identi
 fication and resolution, where he has actively helped shape legislatio
 n, guidance, best practice and support mechanisms for the prevention a
 nd eradication of worker abuse. Having had ‘first hand’ experience
  that has identified and tackled numerous examples of worker exploitat
 ion for such an extended timeframe, Shayne offers a valuable perspecti
 ve in the fight to improve worker welfare.  Justine Currell is the Exe
 cutive Director of Unseen joining  on 1 May 2016 after a 28.5 year ca
 reer in the civil service. She held a variety of operational and polic
 y posts  across a number of UK Government departments and for the las
 t five years was the modern slavery senior policy adviser in the Home 
 Office and led on development of the Modern Slavery Act, including the
  transparency in supply chains provision and business guidance, workin
 g closely with Ministers, businesses and international colleagues. Sin
 ce joining Unseen Justine provided insight and experience on the issue
  of modern slavery to media, law enforcement agencies, safeguarding pr
 ofessionals and business. She has helped a number of key businesses on
  developing their response to supply chain transparency and is highly 
 regarded in this field. Justine has successfully developed and launche
 d the new and enhanced Modern Slavery Helpline and Resource Centre, a 
 vital tool for all in the UK’s fight against modern slavery. She use
 s her experience and knowledge of working with UK Ministers to influen
 ce governments internationally to address modern slavery and, in parti
 cular, business supply chain issues. Justine is also Deputy Police and
