DESCRIPTION:The Magical River Of Lights\n\nThe River Of Lights is a fr
 ee, non-denominational, community event celebrating the magic of all t
 he winter festivals by marking the Winter Solstice in Guildford. Visit
  the event website here...\nThe community are invited to bring floatin
 g lanterns, made of oranges and tea lights, to the River Wey (Millmead
  Island behind the Yvonee Arnaud Theatre) and place them on the river 
 to create a beautiful and magical River Of Lights.\nThe site will be l
 it by lantern sculptures. A wasailling choir will serenade. A wishing 
 tree will blossom with leaves on which are written the hopes and dream
 s of the community for the year ahead. And you can keep warm with a gl
 ass or two of mulled wine.\nThis event is funded purely by the generou
 s support and donations of the business community of Surrey , and espe
 cially the independent and sole traders.\nThey donate just £20 each. 
 There are no accolades or marketing opportunities. There is no charity
  benefit.\nThe River Of Lights is a magical and special night that the
 y want to support.\nIf you would like to support The River Of Lights,
