 On the 25th January, DigitalSurrey will welcome Surrey's Chief Superin
 tendent for Neighbourhoods, Gavin Stephens, who will be discussing Sur
 rey Police's use of digital. In particular, Gavin will be talking abou
 t the commissioning and deployment of the Surrey Police App, an iPhone
  (and soon arriving on Android) application that connects residents to
  their neighbourhood police teams.\nWe will also be joined by the Surr
 ey Police app developer, Angus Fox, Director of social collaboration s
 oftware firm Multizone. Gavin and Angus will be covering a range of is
 sues including community and government views, the process of commissi
 oning an app, the social impact on neighbourhoods and public concerns 
 such as privacy.\nThe University of Surrey will be hosting the event w
 ith sponsorship from the Open Digital Policy Organisation.\nThe Open D
 igital Policy Organisation promotes ethical & sustainable policies for
